Celebrating Innovation: UM ITD Students Pitch Groundbreaking Solutions

Shake-A-Leg Miami was thrilled to be part of an inspiring collaboration with the University of Miami’s Innovation, Technology, & Design (ITD) course. As one of the challenge partners alongside Royal Caribbean International, we had the privilege of witnessing students pitch their innovative solutions during the course’s final presentations.

The energy in the room was electric as these future engineers and designers showcased their creativity and dedication. Each project addressed unique challenges defined in collaboration with Shake-A-Leg Miami and Royal Caribbean, reflecting a commitment to inclusion, accessibility, and forward-thinking technology.

It was an absolute joy to see the students’ passion for problem-solving and innovation come to life. Their fresh perspectives and creative ideas will undoubtedly influence the future of accessible design in profound ways.
