I like Shake-A-Leg because I get to make new friends and I get to play in the water.
I love Shake A Leg because you’re constantly outside, I love that we get to enjoy the beauty of Biscayne Bay through fun water activities rather than just lounging in a classroom or even worse staying at home. Also, I’ve made a lot of connections with the kids they’re all so sweet and I love learning with and from them.
I joined Shake A Leg because I love the water, and getting to teach kids is just really fun. I’ve been part of Shake A Leg for 9 years and everyone is amazing the staff, the mentors, and the kids make it a great environment. And now I’ve brought my brother here and we really enjoy working here on island.
I love Shake-A-Leg because I can have a fun time in the water with my friends.
There are so many reasons why I love Shake-A-Leg, their message, the opportunities it gives to both campers and workers like myself, and the element of getting to use water-based activities. These all come together to give these kids experiences they may not have had access to while promoting a great message.
I like Shake-A-Leg because the staff is nice and always helpful. I also like having a fun time in the water with my friends.
I love Shake A Leg because during the 6 months of me being here I’ve constantly made connections not only with fellow campers but staff as well. Moreover, this camp teaches kids and staff so many unique skills such as sailing or knot variations which makes this experience one to remember.
What I like about Shake A Leg is the environment, their inclusivity, the kids, and the water activities. I really love the water and other activities, like the art projects we do in the class, they’re all super inclusive which allows everyone to have fun. The campers are also super nice and everyone gets along here at camp.
I really enjoy that shake a leg because of the community I love that the kids can come in and do activities that a lot of them have yet to experience in their life. I know that for me and my daughter this is her first time at an aquamarine camp, and she has really enjoyed meeting new people and getting to do things that she’s never been exposed to before.

I love coming to Shake a Leg because of all the smiles on the kids' faces. Whether I just say hello or good morning, it's heartwarming to see them genuinely having fun and learning new things. I love Shake A Leg because I enjoy being able to help kids out. First, I mentored here for 2 or 3 years, and now this is my first year as a staff member. I enjoy the fact that the people are super kind and everyone cares. We get to take kids to do things they wouldn't usually be able to do, such as sailing, kayaking, and fishing. It is an overall wonderful place.
I like Shake A Leg because I like to help out and interact with all the campers through all the different activities they have at the camp.
